The Academy of Children's Theatre presented, "To Kill A Mockingbird" November 13-15, 2015, at the Emmett Hook Center.
The beloved Southern classic is set in a small Alabama town in the 1930’s, the story focuses on scrupulously honest, highly respected lawyer Atticus Finch. Finch puts his career on the line when he agrees to represent Tom Robinson, a black man accused of rape. The trial and the events surrounding it are seen through the eyes of Finch's six-year-old daughter Scout.
The production starred John Bogan as Atticus Finch, Kate Davis as Scout, and Jack Walker as Jem. Other performers included Mike Martindale, Cordara Newson, Reagan Cassanova, Jim Christie , Terry McCoy, Caroline Adkins, Hugh Herzog, Jeremy Pryor and Tiana Andrews-Williams. Photos by Stephanie Davis.
